 BitCoinData is a Windows desktop program that provides Intraday OHLC BitCoin price and volume data and/or charts.  The data is in the form of simple .csv files so you can use them in your own applications if you like or simply use the intraday candlestick charts provided by the program.

There is no registration required and it installs in just seconds.

To install BitCoinData on your PC click here. 

Select any time frame you like.
The image at the right shows the BitCoinData Program's main control screen.  It is very simple to use.  Simply select the bar chart data you would like. Check the 'Chart' checkbox if you would also like to see that data charted. Then select the BitCoin exchange and currency from the dropdown window and click on run.  It is just that simple.

You can also check on 'Auto Run' to instruct the program to start gathering data automatically when you start the program.  If you check on 'Auto Loop' the program will update all data and charts every 50 seconds.

You can even adjust the data and charts date/time to your time zone with the "Time Adjust' text box.

BitCoin Data File Location and Format
The image at the left shows a sample of open, high, low, close and volume bar chart data for the BitCoin mtgoxUSD 5 minute bars.  These are simple .csv files that you can open in a spread sheet or as text files.  Any combination of number of bars and time frames can be selected.  You can request up to 1000 bars of history and up to 12 files.

You can select the folder where the files are stored.  Note that these files will be updated every 50 seconds if you check on the 'Auto Loop' check box.
